Agnes and Patrick first crossed paths on Facebook, where a casual chat slowly developed into something much deeper. Although thousands of kilometres separated them, they stayed close through frequent phone calls, video chats, and daily conversations. To make the homecoming even more special, Patrick travelled from Kisii to welcome Agnes when she arrived in Kenya. Their first meeting in person was an emotional moment after spending years seeing each other only through screens. Those who witnessed the reunion said the two shared a heartfelt embrace, bringing an end to months of waiting. Agnes later revealed that Patrick had been one of her biggest sources of encouragement during the difficult times she faced while working abroad, making the occasion even more memorable.
