"Is The Government Watching While This is Happening?".....Here is what happens in Kilimani AirBNBs that has left the country in disbelief(VIDEO)...One word for them?

Kilimani has built a reputation as one of Nairobi’s liveliest and most sought-after neighbourhoods, attracting residents and visitors with its modern apartments, restaurants, nightlife and convenient location. But for some people who have called the area home for years, the neighbourhood is slowly taking on a different character. They say the growing number of apartments being offered as short-term rentals has resulted in a constant stream of unfamiliar guests, more noise and occasional disturbances, raising concerns about how residential buildings are being managed.

Those concerns came into focus again over the weekend after an incident at one apartment building reportedly left several tenants unhappy. According to accounts from residents, a group of young men arrived at one of the units with two women and brought drinks with them. Loud music was later heard coming from the apartment, while some neighbours claimed to have seen equipment that appeared to be used for recording being taken inside. This led to speculation among tenants that some form of video content might have been filmed there. As the evening continued, residents said the noise became hard to tolerate, prompting complaints from some of those living nearby. WATCH THE VIDEO.

By the next morning, the incident had become a talking point among residents and on social media, with some people linking it to the wider debate surrounding short-term rentals in residential neighbourhoods. While these rentals provide an important source of income for property owners and offer visitors convenient places to stay, critics argue that better controls are needed when apartments are located inside shared residential buildings. They believe landlords and property managers should set and enforce clear rules for guests so that the interests of both short-term visitors and long-term residents are respected. WATCH THE VIDEO.
