A man in Bungoma is said to have narrowly escaped death after he was allegedly caught in a secret affair with the wife of a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer. According to claims circulating in the area, the relationship had reportedly been kept away from the husband until a neighbour allegedly alerted the officer about the suspected affair. It is alleged that the KDF officer later decided to lay a trap after receiving the information, hoping to catch the man and his wife together. The confrontation reportedly turned chaotic, with the man managing to escape but sustaining serious injuries in the process.  WATCH THE VIDEO.

The incident has since caused a stir among residents, with questions being raised about the circumstances that led to the confrontation. The KDF officer is also said to have filed for divorce following the alleged affair, bringing the troubled marriage closer to an end.
